As always, it’s good to hear from the men on the topic at hand. On any topic, it’s good to go to the collective wisdom of the men and see what is to be shared and revealed. This month we hear from the men posting on social media’s MDI Facebook site, in answer to this question: “What man are you grateful for and why?”
JOE COPP – Peter Thompson for being a great example. Len Guida for showing us how the impossible is done.
DAVID HOROBIN – Fred Vesey for teaching us to always seek the truth by “massaging those juicy wet cracks!”
RANDY MCLANE– Bruce Wechsler: for bringing me and so many others into “the Circle.” His unwavering attitude is an inspiration!
JIM ELLIS – Sandt Litchfield who shows what a true team player acts like inbetween meetings and during meetings when he happens to be out of town. He holds the men high at all times.
ERIC KITTENDORFF – I would thank Dylan Stewart definitely for always reaching out to me even though I don’t reach back, for inspiring me, and motivating me. He probably doesn’t know, but he will now, he has helped me through a lot of hard times and I just want to say thank you.
MICHAEL FOWLKES – Though never an MDI member, I’d like to thank my dad for teaching me about hard work, discipline, diligence, working through obstacles, focusing on the goal and being of service.
DAVID MACELWAIN – These are my men. They may not always get it right. They may not always show up on time or at all. Their context at the heart is love all men, and with that they / we listen with caring compassion. Most of the time, to be heard is all we need. I have been around the fire with these men for the better part of 20 years, and my life and the lives of my family is way better because of them.
Joe Copp — For insisting that is s place where I can bring me, the me I am right now, whatever that looks like.
